Daewoo Chevrolet and Holden Matiz!

 

That little ol Daewoo Matiz is just the kinda rig you could point up the road toward Mattisplassen in Lommedalen out in Bærum technically Hole but you gotta snake your way through Bærum to get there. Folks round those parts been whisperin for years accordin to the local paper Budstikka that some spook is wanderin around up there in the timber. Might be Martha might be somebody else just driftin through the fog who knows.

Place is abandoned now quiet as a church on Monday and mostly used as a kickoff spot for school field trips. Bunch of kids trompin through the woods while teachers keep one eye on the trail and the other on the tree line.

Speakin of teachers there was an old schoolteacher from Asker interviewed in Budstikka some years back talkin about her Daewoo Matiz. Lord have mercy she said that little car put her through pure torment. Warranty mess importer trouble nothing ever went smooth. Felt like every time she fixed one thing another gremlin popped up. Makes you wonder if that Mattisplassen haint hitched a ride in the back seat.

Now if you really wanna outsmart a Norwegian forest ghost you might consider rollin up there in the American badged Chevrolet Spark instead. Or better yet track down the Australian Holden version the one they also call the Spark. That thing is rarer than rain in West Texas over here since it is built and sold clear on the other side of the globe.

Tell you what you cut yourself a deal with some ship owner or big time land baron maybe even a Mattisplassen land baron if such a fella exists and line up a proper transport plan to haul a Holden Matiz Spark all the way to Norway. You roll that onto the local streets and you will be king of the small car scene no question about it.

And if that ghost is watchin from the treeline he might just tip his hat and keep his distance. Which means you can drive back down the hill without white knuckles and without soakin your britches.
