Toyota Corolla, Celica, and Celica from the late '80s to the early 2000s!

Toyota Corolla, mid-1980s. This car belonged to the parents of someone who attended my kindergarten. It wasn't very new at the time, possibly due to the economic crisis in the country. In hindsight, I've found that this model was at least somewhat modern in design for its time.

Interestingly, a Toyota Corolla of this type also recently appeared in the documentary film about Eirik Jensen and Gjermund Cappelen, now available on Netflix. In it, a young Cappelen drives recklessly down the E6 in a Toyota Corolla, looking cheerful and newly involved in crime.

As for the 1994-1998 Toyota Corolla, someone I know had one. He drove a 1994 model that only had an airbag on the driver's side. It was surprising that he could afford such a car despite being a student.

Toyota Celica—this car was introduced in 1994 with some stunning and marvelous Porsche-style headlights. It was just so sexy! Today, however, it has become a styling object, which is a bit sad considering how beautiful it was in its original form. Of course, it's also incredibly cool and modified, but still...

A teacher at my middle school drove a Celica model from before that, which I always shook my head at. I just couldn’t understand why he never had the coolest version from after 1994. At least he kept that car for many years!

Toyota Corolla (1998-2002)—I remember when this car came out around 1998, and it had some really sexy Porsche-style headlights. The only downside was that it soon received a facelift that almost ruined its stunning look. However, all these cars, both before and after the facelift, can certainly be styled into some seriously impressive street machines!
