Some BMW 3 and 5 series!



The BMW 5 Series from ’96 to 2003, this here’s the car that an attorney’s daughter at my elementary school supposedly got driven around in by her lawyer daddy. It’s a sweet ride that you can trick out and tune up real nice.



The BMW 3 Series from ’91 to ’98, I once knew a guy who had the wagon version of this car. He pulled a few wide slides in the 60 km/h zone past Gjønnes near Bekkestua in Bærum. Not long after, he got his license taken away for two years after another run-in for speeding. I also remember a British or Dutch-registered BMW that passed our family car and a whole line of cars in a blind spot up above Morgedal headin’ toward Seljord, this was late ’90s, so that BMW musta been pretty new.
 

A BMW 3 Series sedan’s also been tied to the Tina Jørgensen murder case. A group of friends who were reportedly investigated around a reopening of the case a few years back supposedly owned the car a long time ago. The owner back then surely got a scare when a cadaver dog picked up a trace in the car.

Yep, this car’s had a whole lotta owners, lawyers, murderers, and speed demons alike. But one thing’s for sure, you can still pimp these babies into somethin’ real cool.


BMW E46 and E90, them’s the same kind of cars, just blessed with bein’ newer, and you can fix ’em up and tune ’em real mean into somethin’ downright cool.



BMW E39, BMW E60, E61, and BMW F10, them’s the same kinda cars that lawyer fella had, just newer, and these here can be fixed up to look real darn cool too.

Toyota Tacoma X-Runner, Toyota FJ cruiser!

Toyota Tacoma X-Runner? Now there’s a truck with some flair! They sold ‘em in the U.S. from 2005 to 2013, in Canada from 2005 to 2014, and even out on Hawaii till 2015. Came in all kinds of cool colors—different shades of blue and red, plus two kinds of black. They only made about 3,000 of these bad boys every year, so they’re a rare find. Now, the Toyota FJ Cruiser? That one wasn’t even supposed to hit production! But after folks went wild for it at the auto show, Toyota decided to give the people what they wanted. It was made mostly for the U.S. market, though I remember seein’ a few of ‘em back home in Bærum. Some small import business must’ve brought a few over, ‘cause there wasn’t a proper dealer for ‘em. By 2014, Toyota started talkin’ about axin’ the FJ Cruiser, but it’s still rollin’ in the Middle East. Those newer versions are upgraded from the originals and mighty hard to come by. TVR Streetcars, around 1950s -

These badass and purebred special British sports cars are made by the British company TVR , since the late '50s. Even though they're darn cool and very special, only a few thousand of them have been produced in different models. Some models have only seen a single or double-digit number of cars produced - quite a shame considering how super cool and unique these cars are. Around 1980, TVR supposedly pulled off a stunt during the unveiling of new cars, where they simply used naked ladies as promotional babes! By the way, one of TVR's cars is said to have been banned in the USA due to some special and very strict safety regulations that it didn't quite meet. Too bad, America! TVR cars are awesome, and here I've captured a bunch of the coolest ones TVR has to offer.

Volvo S40 and Volvo S60!

  Now the Volvo Cars S40 and S60 have mostly carried that clean cut Scandinavian Sunday school look. Safe, sensible, parked nice and straight in the driveway. Not exactly the kinda rigs that make you spill your coffee starin at em. But here is the part folks tend to forget. Them Swedes have been throwin these sedans into racing for years. Touring car grids full of boxy little Volvos leanin hard into corners like they got somethin to prove. And that S40 even had a rowdy cousin back in the day called the Evolve version, which was about as subtle as a thunderclap in a tin barn. Now here is where it gets fun. You take an S60 or an S40 and quit treatin it like a commuter appliance. Bolt on some gullwing doors just to mess with peoples heads. Throw on some proper side skirts, lower it till it hugs the asphalt tighter than a tick on a hound dog, and suddenly that plain Jane grocery getter starts lookin like it runs the block.
