Roman Zhuravlyov Cyberpunk Lada Niva and Cyberpunk UAZ Hunter concept
Well, let me tell ya 'bout them Lada Niva and UAZ Hunter, somethin' I've jawed 'bout in my rambler blog. I talk 'bout how they're kinda stuck in the past, and that makes 'em perfect for the hot rod scene, rooted back in the '60s, '70s, and especially the '80s. Lada Niva and UAZ Hunter fit right in, see, 'cause Lada Niva's been sportin' darn near the same look since the late '70s. UAZ Hunter might be a tad more outdated, sportin' a design from the 1950s. But let me tell ya, that UAZ Hunter and Lada Niva Cyberpunk, in my eyes and plenty others', they got themselves a pretty modern vibe, despite keepin' a good chunk of that original '50s and '70s design. Ain't that somethin'?
Take a good gander at them rides below. They're loaded up with all sorts of high-tech gear on the outside, and the bodies, built on that original design, got plenty of them little modern design flairs that make 'em look up-to-date. You can roll these rigs to car meets in the city or take 'em out in the wild. But, if you're lookin' to snag one and spruce it up like that, reckon you might have to wait 'til they roll off the production line, if that ever happens. Or you can get hands-on and turn an original UAZ Hunter or Lada Niva into somethin' like that yourself. Nearest Lada dealer is up north near Karlstad in Sweden. For folks in Oslo and the East, or Murmansk for them Kirkenes folks, it's a 3-4 hour drive (according to Google) either which way.
