Mitshubishi Starion , Toyota Supra, Porsche 928, 924 and 944!

These cars were among the first street rides with truly modern design, hitting the scene already in the late 1970s. The Porsche 928 (1978-1995) was pretty slick, I reckon, as I often spotted them in Drammen and Oslo in Norway in the 1990s. On the other hand, the Porsche 924 (1976-1988) and 944 (1982-1991) were more standard Porsches, sporting a somewhat duller design, even though they still carried a more 90s vibe than 80s. These were considered more everyday Porsches and came at a much more reasonable price. Mitsubishi Starion (1982-1989) had a dude down the road from me over 10 years ago. I dig it because of its classic and modern '70s design. (Late '90s / early 2000s Toyota Supra) Toyota Supra made its debut in 1978 with a modern design. Zenvo TS1 and Zenvo ST1, SSC Tuatara!

Check out them Zenvo TS1 and ST1 rides, crafted right over in Denmark by them folks at Zenvo, a Danish outfit making them sports cars. Now, what's kinda peculiar is that no high rollers up here in Norway have snagged one of these rides, even though Denmark is way more connected to Norway than them Swedes. I've yapped before about Koenigsegg, the whips Idar Vollvik and Tommy Sharif, true-blue Norwegians, rolled around in with Norwegian plates. Now, I might be scribbling a bit off, saying Swedes are less tied to Norway considering all Norwegians sporting Volvos, hitting up Ikea, and whatnot Swedish. But remember, Denmark had Norway under its wing in the Denmark-Norway union for a few hundred years, compared to Sweden's not even a hundred, but 91 years – often mistaken for a century since Norway outlasted their ownership in 1996. Lotec/Bugatti/Pagani/Koenigsegg/Spyker

Lotec Sirius was at one point the fastest car in the world, hitting a top speed of 420 kilometers per hour.  Now, take a gander at the Bugatti Veyron . This beast could hit speeds of 405 kilometers per hour, and it rolled onto the scene about 15 to 20 years back. Word has it that a big-shot Norwegian tycoon, making waves in the early 2000s, made headlines in VG about a decade ago. In an interview, he spilled the beans about snagging one of these bad boys, proudly declaring that being loaded ain't all that bad. And then we've got the Koenigsegg Agera, the inaugural model from Koenigsegg that caught the eye of the Norwegian tycoon and Chess guru Idar Vollvik nearly two decades ago.
