Various Tesla 2008 -

Bilde
Tesla 's dang cool street machines runnin' on downright insane electric power. Talkin' 'bout insane, the Tesla Model S 's got its own crazy mode. The American and also South African fella, Elon Musk, is the brain behind these rigs. What's fun is Elon Musk's a bit of a character; he named his cars with a letter code spellin' out 'SEX.' And later, when Model Y rolls out, it's gonna be downright 'sexy.' On Model E , he couldn't get away with it, but he still called it '3' as a kind of opposite 'E.' Them electric rigs haul like greased lightning, and with insane mode, it's like a dang catapult. By the way, Model E's the only one I've had the pleasure of sittin' in, though it ain't the fastest, not like the Model S. Someone I used to work with, by the way, is what they call a boer from South Africa, and he went to the same school as Elon Musk.

TVR Streetcars, around 1950s -

These badass and purebred special British sports cars are made by the British company TVR , since the late '50s. Even though they're darn cool and very special, only a few thousand of them have been produced in different models. Some models have only seen a single or double-digit number of cars produced - quite a shame considering how super cool and unique these cars are. Around 1980, TVR supposedly pulled off a stunt during the unveiling of new cars, where they simply used naked ladies as promotional babes! By the way, one of TVR's cars is said to have been banned in the USA due to some special and very strict safety regulations that it didn't quite meet. Too bad, America! TVR cars are awesome, and here I've captured a bunch of the coolest ones TVR has to offer.

Fiat 124 Spider 2012- Lancia Delta and Fiat 127 Concept 2015-

Fiat 124 Spider , a true icon in the USA, and Fiat making headlines by recently acquiring Chrysler Motors. Beyond that, Fiat played a pivotal role in kickstarting the Russian automotive industry around 1970 with licenses for the original Fiat 124, famously known as the Fiat 124 Familiare. While the Russian Fiat family car might not have been as sturdy as the original Italian Fiat, the Fiat 124 Spider is a whole different story. You can pimp it out into something seriously cool, and it even comes in an open-top version. Oddly enough, there aren't many of these gems in Norway, and it's a shame because I'd love to see more of them on the roads. Time to bring some Italian flair to the Norwegian streets! Lancia Delta Concept  and  Fiat 127 Concept 2015  are some pretty dang cool street cars. It's a real shame that the Lancia Delta Concept and Fiat 127 never made it past the concept stage. Feel free to check out my posts on my gearhead blog about old Russian Fiats  here...

Man TGA and TGX

MAN TGA and TGX These here are trucks that have been mighty popular over in Eastern Europe. Drive a MAN truck like a true MAN or a true woMAN and you'll be the king of the truckin' street scene. Drive a MAN like a fired-up Eastern European rig driver hopped up on performance-enhancing substances like cocaine and ecstasy, and you'll be leaving most folks in the dust on the highway like you're in a truck race, even with a trailer hitched up. "Drive a MAN Fire Truck and you'll put out the fire of your lady's heart just like you see her swooning over the fire truck full of rain in the first picture."
