Y'all ever heard 'bout that Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut? According to the man himself, Christian Von Koenigsegg, this bad boy's supposed to hit a top speed of a whopping 350 MPH, or 560 kilometers per hour under the right conditions. Now, ain't that somethin'? But hold on now, ain't nobody confirmed that yet. So as of now, the SSC Tuatara still holds the record for street-legal cars, clockin' in at 331 MPH or 529.6 KM/H. What's real cool though, is that this beast is Scandinavian. Christian Von Koenigsegg, he's been crazy 'bout them Norwegian sports cars since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. Apparently, this car called IL Tempo Gigante was his muse, got him dreamin' 'bout startin' his own car company. Well, as y'all probably know, things have gotten downright expensive these days after the pandemic, ongoing climate crisis – with the UN and nations tryin' to figure it out – plus the war in Ukraine, the Middle East, and the crazy inflation that's now unavoidable. Here in Norway, we're dealin' with a 6-7 percent inflation, which is just about half of what we faced in the late '80s and early '90s when inflation and interest rates were around 14 percent, if not more. Now, we're kinda lucky in Norway; take a gander at Argentina – they're grappling with a whopping 160 percent inflation.
