THOR 24, y'all! SSC THRUST and Shockwave, the baddest jet truck out there!

Bilde
In a previous post I wrote on my car enthusiast blog (which you can read here), I talked about steam locomotives. I wrote that post with climate change and the challenges we're facing in mind. Imagine a magnificent and stylish steam locomotive, emitting that true Texian charm. However, nowadays, hardly anyone uses steam locomotives. They're mainly preserved in museums and used on heritage railways in most countries. So, even though I'm crazy about cool cars with powerful engines, I hope that this blog will serve as a reference to badass fossil-fueled cars from the past in a few years. Maybe someday in the future, I'll create a new blog about electric super sports cars! And speaking of that: Peterbilt THOR 24, this is one wickedly insane semi truck built on Peterbilt's model 359. It's equipped with two massive V12 engines, each with a whopping 28-liter capacity, a total of 12 turbos, and eight nitrogen tanks. Despite its massive engine dimensions, it can only...

Nevs 9-3, Saab 9000 Talladega, Saab 900 mk2 and MG XPower SV-R 2004

MG XPower was a car produced by the British MG in 2004, just before they unfortunately went bankrupt. These cars are really cool and can also be compared to the Vauxhall VXR8. I have indeed seen some versions of Vauxhall in Norway from the 1970s, but I find them mostly boring. Nevs 9-3 is the successor to the Saab 9-3, which was transformed into the Chinese Nevs 9-3. Nevs stands for National Electric Vehicle Sweden, and it's a really cool car. It's not as safe as Saab, admittedly, but it's a really cool electric car. It's very strange, in my opinion, that this car was never sold in Norway, considering the huge buzz around it between 2012 and 2015. But despite the high interest in the country, it never made it's way to Norway, unfortunately. Saab 900mk2 (and Saab 9-3 and Saab 9-5, which I'll write a post about later) is something I find completely incomprehensible that there were so few of them in Norway as heavily modified street racers. In Sweden and Finland, o...

Honda Civic - Toyota Starlet - Mazda 323

Bilde
Honda Civic (1972-2021 ): The boss of my daycare center owned an '83/'87 model when I was little. This car is super cool to pimp out as a street racer, just like you see in the picture with Japanese street racer babes. Just remember that this car is over 30 years old. So even though it looks very modern compared to its age, you should preferably leave it alone. There are also several Honda Civics, both older and newer. S o remember to leave the old ones in the garage and go out racing and picking up chicks with the latest ones. Toyota Starlet (mk1-mk5 1973-1999): Here, I want to highlight the mk4 from 1991, which is also cool to turn into a street racer. But this one is also well over 20 years old today. When I was little, it was featured in Pony commercials for little girls and teenagers. There are also some older versions of these cars, but you should let them be. Mazda 323 (1977-2003): I have written about this car in my blog for gearheads, but these cars are also suitable...
