Lada 1500 concept and Lada 1500 3G and 4G street cars

Bilde
Below, you’ll find a picture of the Lada 1500 concept along with a sporty version of the Lada 1500 above. Unfortunately, the concept car never made it into production. The Lada 1500 3G and 4G are more akin to classic cars than true modern street cars, as they are built on a Fiat model from the 1960s. Lada launched its last versions of these models in 1979 and 1982. By that time, Lada had already produced two versions of the Fiat 1500, based on models from the 1950s and 60s, earlier in the 1970s. In this link , you can see an awesome Lada 1500 3G with an engine from the Nissan Skyline . There’s a saying that Russians and people from former Soviet states often use: 'A Lada, it has a Porsche engine!' Supposedly, Porsche tried to modify the Lada 1500 by collaborating with Lada back in 1976 on the 2103 model . This collaboration fell through, but Porsche later entered into another partnership where they allegedly built a Lada Samara with an engine from the legendary Porsche 9...

Plenty Morgan street cars!

Bilde
Morgan is a fantastic British sports car brand that has been crafting its unique vehicles since 1936, without any major changes or equivalents. They come in several cool variants, including the Aero, Plus 8, Plus 6, and Plus 4 . Morgan cars are hand-built to special order, with a waiting list of less than a year—much shorter than that damn pandemic we can finally see the end of. If you place your order around New Year's, you could have your car by summer or just before Christmas of that year. Even though these cars are built on quite an old design, they are true thoroughbred sports cars. Most of them come with a V8 engine, and the latest Morgan Plus 8 GTR boasts an impressive 380 horsepower!

Caterham Super 7, Caterham 21 and Renault Spider

Renault Spide r is one seriously cool car that was truly unique and special in its time. I remember reading about it back in the day and eventually feeling so disappointed that I hardly ever saw any on Norwegian roads. Sure, I spotted it on display at some dealerships or maybe used as a private car by the importer, but that was about it. By the way, it was actually banned from being imported into the U.S. back then, but now, 25 years later, you can finally bring one in again. Too bad, America! Caterham Super Seven is an incredibly cool car made by the British company Caterham. While they've also built the Caterham 21, their main focus has always been on the Super Seven. This car is a true icon, known for its lightweight design and pure driving experience, staying true to the spirit of classic British sports cars

Porsche 911, Porsche 914 and Volkswagen Beetle RS Porsche

(Here's a prototype from around 2020 of the old-school Beetle.) Volkswagen Beetle is often considered the first truly modern car. Hitler wanted a people's car, and he preferred it to be round and streamlined. The choice landed on Ferdinand Porsche's project, the Beetle. Despite being a major project of Nazi Germany and Hitler, who are responsible for the deaths of around 60 million people and a world in ruins, the Beetle became a real hit after the war. The Beetle was so popular that in the early 1970s, it became the world's best-selling car. Production continued only in South America after that, where it was produced and sold until 2003. In the rest of the West, it had a long hiatus of over 20 years, during which it was replaced by the Golf. However, in the 1990s, a new model called the New Beetle was introduced, first sold in the USA in 1996. It didn't arrive in Norway until 1998. But I remember the first one in Bærum sat for a long time at Bærum Bilutleie in Has...
